【藏品介紹】

郵政局過往發行了兩輪生肖系列郵票，第一輪（1894-1995）圖案以十二生肖栩栩如生的神態展現于郵票上。第二輪（1996-2007）則以簡單的線條描述了十二生肖頭部特征，背景以花團錦簇襯托。第三輪設計概念以五行“金，木，水，火，土”來表達。

關于每年的五行屬性，坊間有兩種說法：一種純以該年的天干作決定，另一種則根據納音五行作定，納音五行是以天干加起來推算。

郵政局發行的第三輪生肖系列郵票是采用天干算法推算的五行屬性，而今年鼠的五行為[土鼠]，所以五枚郵票中[土鼠]是今次的主角。

In the past,macao Post has issued two serise of stamps with the of Chinese Zodiac.In the first series(1894-1995),the vivid appearance of the"Twelve Animals"were portrayed on the stamps,while in the second series(1996-2007),the simple lines were used to features of Chinese Zodiac's heads,with rich multicolored.The tbird series is presented with the comcept of"Five Elements",included"Metal,Wood,Water,Fire and Earth".
There are two kinds of theorice about the atteibutes of the Five Elements in each year:one saying is dependent on the"Heavenly stems"while the other is based on sound retainers of the Five Elements,while are calculated by"Heavenly stems"and the"Earthly Branches".
The Macao Post adopted the"Heavenly stems"calculation method to figure out the nature of the"Five Elements"in the third series of Chinese Zodiac stamps.This yeat,the rat's nature from the "Five Elements"is "Earth Rat",so it becomes the main character of the five stamps.
